Certificado de Aptitud Ocupacional (CAO), is also an award offered within the education for work and human development framework but, it is not restricted to SENA and other registered education providers may offer programmes leading to CAO. The most common CAO award is that of Técnico or Técnico Laboral which is awarded after a minimum of 1,000 hours of training.
