This award is designed to enable adults who did not complete secondary school as adolescents to earn a secondary qualification. The diploma/certificate is legally recognized as the equivalent of a high school diploma in all U.S. states and territories. Note: Additional requirements may exist for entry into H.E. with students expected to satisfy those additional requirements on top of having the Diploma equivalency award.
