Level 4 Specific Purpose Certificate in Sustainability Awareness
Programme Purpose
The programme aim is to develop learners awareness of the impacts of environmental change and the key sustainable practices that can be implemented at individual and community level. Participants who successfully complete the programme will be more aware of environmental issues and will be able to make some changes to their personal practice as a result of their participation in the programme. On completion of the programme, participants may progress to more specialised sustainability training (e.g. 5N1442 Environmental Studies, 5M5028 Applied Ecology)’ The purpose of the programme is to develop awareness of sustainability and to equip participants to make changes in their personal lives and activities based on this awareness.
