Certificate in Technologies in Assessment, Feedback and Learning Support
In this proposed micro-credential programme, practitioners will engage with current thinking on effective assessment and feedback practices and their significance for teaching and learning in an online, bite-sized manner. They will critically reflect on their current practices and explore the opportunities for enhancement by investigating a range of appropriate digital tools that can support learners and guide instruction at different stages of the assessment and feedback lifecycle. They will learn how to integrate accessibility and inclusion objectives in planning, implementation and evaluation of instructional strategies in an online, bite-sized manner. They will also consider how to use digital evidence of learner activity, progress and performance to inform instructional strategies and support learners. The programme will lead to a Special Purpose Award at Level 7 on the National Framework of Qualifications. It will consist of one module worth 10 ECTS (i.e. 250 hours of learner effort).
