Introduction to Performing Arts

Programme Purpose

Blue Teapot Theatre Company offers a full-time Level 2 General Learning Major Award that is aimed specifically at adults with intellectual disabilities. This programme comprises of two compulsory modules (M2C04 Non-Verbal Communication and M2N06 Pattern and Relationship) with an additional 20 credits obtained by other module components, specific to Performing Arts – Drama (M2A22), Theatre Craft (M2A19), Music (M2A23) and Design (M2A20). The duration is ten months. This programme offers learners the opportunity to transfer to Blue Teapot’s Level 3 programme, Foundation Performing Arts Skills.
