Duration Description

This programme will consist of three minor components, Restaurant Skills 5N2080, Beverage Services 5N2080 and Licensed Trade Law 5N0633. These components are expected to be taught concurrently on a part-time basis, three days per week over the course of 11 weeks. There will be up to 115 hours of directed learning and up to 275 hours of self-directed and OTJ learning together The expected overall duration of 11 weeks is based on delivery of all three components concurrently on a part time basis. This duration is subject to change in accordance with specific needs of client engaged in programme provision Restaurant Skills 5N2080 - Combined with the other minor components Restaurant Skills 5N2080 is expected to be delivered over the course of 11 weeks. There will be up to 5 weeks of directed and self-directed learning and a further 6 weeks of self-directed and OTJ training is expected. Altogether this component is expected to involve 60 hours of directed learning and 120 hours of combined self-directed and OTJ learning. The expected duration of this module is based on delivery in parallel with other component modules of 5S2103 Bar & Restaurant Services and is subject to change in accordance with client specific requirements. Beverage Services 5N2019 - Combined with the other minor components Beverage Skills 5N2019 is expected to be delivered over the course of 11 weeks. There will be up to 5 weeks of directed and self-directed learning and a further 6 weeks of self-directed and OTJ training are expected. Altogether this component is expected to involve 40 hours of directed learning and 120 hours of combined self-directed and OTJ learning.. The expected duration of this module is based on delivery in parallel with other component modules of 5S2103 Bar & Restaurant Services and is subject to change in accordance with client specific requirements. Licensed Trade Law 5N0633 - Combined with the other minor components Licensed Trade Law 5N0633 is expected to be delivered over the course of 11 weeks. There will be up to 5 weeks of directed and self-directed learning and a further 6 weeks of self-directed and OTJ training are expected. Altogether this component is expected to involve 15 hours of directed learning and 35 hours of combined self-directed and OTJ learning. The expected duration of this module is based on delivery in parallel with other component modules of 5S2103 Bar & Restaurant Services and is subject to change in accordance with client specific requirements.
