Duration Description

A. This Special Purpose Programme, comprising two component modules, will be offered on part time basis, in order to facilitate the needs of the learners, who may be in employment seeking to up-skill or may be re-entering the work-force by re-skilling. It would enable the learner to complete this Special Purpose Programme in 11 weeks split between the two component modules as per following details: (i) 6N3326 Training Delivery and Evaluation - 6 Weeks (ii) 6N3325 Training Needs Identification and Design - 5 Weeks B. Total learner effort required to complete this Special Purpose Programme would be 300 hours to achieve a minimum of the 30 credits required for this Special Purpose Award. This duration includes time for both self-directed learning by the learner and directed learning provided by the NCU. 300 hours would be subdivided equally between the two component modules as follows: (i) Directed Learning - 50 hours each, totalling to 100 hours (ii) Self-Directed Learning - 100 hours each, totalling to 200 Hours C. This programme is structured in a way that provides flexibility for the learner who does not wish to complete the whole programme and only has an interest in completing one of the programme modules. In such a case, the learner will achieve only the relevant QQI Component Award. Individual durations for completing the components programmes would be as indicated above.
